Giving Options

BHACF makes it easy for donors to achieve their charitable goals. BHACF can help you provide for your favorite charities and causes far into the future or it can help you manage your annual giving to the charities of your choice. Donors can contribute through:

Outright Gifts
Outright gifts include cash, stocks, real estate or assets all which entitle the donor to benefical tax deductions.

Bequest by Will
Donors can designate a portion of an estate to BHACF through an existing or named endowment fund.

Charitable Lead Trust
Donors can establish a trust which pays the BHACF a fixed amount for a number of years and then assets go to another beneficiary.

Charitable Remainder Trust
A Charitable Remainder Trust pays the beneficiary for life and then assets transfer to BHACF.

Vital Statistics

We sponsor more than 50 funds with more than $9 million in endowed assets.

• Work with nonprofit organizations to identify the areas of greatest need
and we work with donors to help them achieve their philanthropic goals.
• BHACF distributed more than $340,000, in grants and scholarships during 2012.
• Since 2005 we have distributed more than $2.5 million on behalf of our donors.
