Welcome to Black Hills Area Community Foundation

Connecting People Who Care to Causes that Matter.

The BHACF provides philanthropic leadership to build community endowments to invest in people and solutions that positively impact the Black Hills area.

  • The Boys & Girls Club

The Boys & Girls Club grant supported a teen leadership initiative. The service projects the teens completed as part of the initiative created a “tremendous mental shift in understanding the fulfillment that comes along with giving. (These) simple actions yielded a strong community connection that will stay with these youth into adulthood”
  • "Bringing the community together was awesome."

Using theatre to redefine community and ability, Flutter Productions is an all-ability, movement-based theatre performances highlighting the talents of performers of all abilities. The performances close the gap between people with disabilities and those without disabilities.
  • "Thank You

for awarding me the scholarship in memory of Kevin J. Morsching.  The story of Kevin is something that will be long remembered in the Post 22 Baseball program and I am honored to be part of his legacy." - Justin Kraemer
